A new, exciting and thrilling phase of life is now beginning for your child and also for you. We want to make this successful for your child, for you and for us. The basis for your child to feel comfortable and secure with us is a trusting relationship with us teachers.

After a successful COMMON INTRODUCTION PHASE, you can leave your child to us with a good feeling.

You remain the most important caregiver in your child's life.

adjustment period:

For us, the well-being of the child comes first. Therefore, a respectful and sensitive acclimatization is a basic requirement for well-being. A child's adjustment period is a joint task and requires sufficient time for the educators and parents. For this reason, we ask you to read our acclimatization concept carefully. Cooperation during the acclimatization process is urgently needed for the well-being of your child and is therefore obligatory for you as parents!

Guide for your behavior in the acclimatization phase and for your behavior in the group

- The first few days you will only be in the group with your child for about 1-2 hours. Find a spot on the edge of the crèche group. Take this place every day during the settling-in period. This has the advantage that your child can find you immediately if it needs you. Please do not walk around in the crèche room so that you disturb the other children as little as possible in everyday life.

- Be passive, but give your child and his actions your full attention

- Be attentive and watch your child. It can explore the new environment at its own pace. Give your child time.

- You are the “safe haven” for your child. Do not occupy yourself with other things (e.g. mobile phone) or children from the group, so that your child is not distracted or reacts jealously

- Do not push your child to move away from you and always accept when they seek contact with you. Respond to your child's cues as you always do at home.

- The care situation - diaper changing - is a very sensitive area. At the beginning you change your child on the changing area in the bathroom. The teacher will then come along and gradually take over

duration of the acclimatization period

Every child is their own personality. There can therefore not be a settling-in process that is the same for all children.

In any case, plan at least 2 – 4 weeks!

separation phase

Once your child has gained trust in the educator, the first attempt at separation comes:

- After about an hour say goodbye to your child clearly and leave the room. But you stay in the house.

- If your child allows the teacher to calm you down after the separation, you will come back at the agreed time (approx. 30 minutes).

- For you and your child, the day in the crèche is now over. You and your child say goodbye and go home.

- However, if your child does not allow the teacher to calm you down after the separation, you will be brought back into the room after a short time.

- The crèche day ends now, too. You say goodbye with your child and go home.

- The child learns that they will be picked up when you come back.

- A next separation attempt will only be started in a few days.

stabilization phase

If the separation went well, the separation time will be extended further in the next few days.

The educator observes and documents your child's behavior and exchanges information with you on a regular basis.

final phase

If your child now feels comfortable in the group, can be diapered and cared for, you are no longer in the facility during the separation period. But always be available by phone.

Your child should be able to rely on being picked up at the agreed time.
